We know that plans sometimes changes, and you might need to cancel a booking.
If this is the case, the first thing you need to do is to contact the counterparty as soon as possible. This gives them the opportunity to plan their schedule in the best way, according to the new circumstances.
In generel, the lender and renter must come to an agreement whether an order can be canceled without consequences.
If, for some reason, the lender and renter cannot come to an agreement, Wedio's cancellation policy can be used.

Cancellation policy for lenders
Cancellation of already accepted rental requests
If you (lender) need to cancel a rental that has already been approved, you need to require renter to do so in the order request conversation.
Be aware that renter is often very dependent on your equipment in order to do their job. So, canceling the rental request at short notice may result in lost profits and poor public review.
We therefore always encourage you to give notice in good time, and to get in touch with us and renter, to find an alternative option for renter.
