What should I enter as the equipment’s condition?

When selling your gear on Wedio's Buy/Sell marketplace, accurately describing the condition of your equipment is crucial for potential buyers to make informed decisions about their purchases. In the "Condition" section, you can choose from several options to describe the state of your gear.
New: If your item is brand new and unopened, choose this option. This means that the item is in its original packaging and has not been used.
Like New: If your item has minimal use, with no signs of wear and tear, or if it has been kept in its original packaging since it was purchased brand new, then select "Like New". Lenses may only contain a minimal amount of dust, if any at all.
Excellent: If the item has some signs of use, such as surface-level cosmetic wear, but there are no marks on the lens glass, then choose "Excellent". Lenses may include some light dust, but it does not affect the performance.
Good: If the item shows noticeable wear and tear to key parts of the body, but there are no marks on the lens glass, then select "Good". Lenses may show signs of dust, but the performance is unaffected.
Well Used: If the item has significant scuffs and scratches, wear and tear to the LCD, chipped paint, missing port covers, and/or sticky shutter buttons, then choose "Well Used". The lens zoom or focus ring may be slightly stiff, and lenses may show a considerable amount of dust. However, the performance is mostly unaffected.
Heavily Used: If the item has a high number of scratches throughout the body, wear and peeling on the grips, and some functions are affected, such as built-in flash or non-essential buttons, then select "Heavily Used". Lenses may show a considerable amount of dust.
For Parts: If the item is non-functional and only suitable for spare parts, select "For Parts". This option means that the item has missing components and may contain non-original spare parts.
It's important to accurately describe the condition of your gear to avoid any misunderstandings or disputes with potential buyers. If you're unsure about the condition, it's best to act on the side of caution and choose a lower condition level. This way, the buyer knows exactly what they're getting and can make an informed decision.
